Bake-O's 21 - MacBain's 69th Highlanders 15
---
I was gonna nail Rod with the Bonehead for starting Hines Ward, then realized he didn't get any points from his bench so it don't really matter. Bake-O's bench once again outscore its starters, but someone besides Elam put points on the board, so they won this week! They move to 1-1, while MacBain fall to 0-2 behind Nedney's feet. As I said last week, new kicker, old story for Rod. Except that now he's starting WR's on bye. He's getting to be almost as bad as Szymanski.

Egomaniacs 23 - Iron Men 15
---
Speaking of Szymanski, Iron Men, their tithe unpaid (or so I assume), enter play without a kicker for the second week in a row. It may have hurt this week, as they lost by eight kicker-friendly points to an Ego team that has a seven game win streak dating back to last season. The injury suffered by Garrison Hearst didn't help matters any. Bye-week pickup K Wade Richey paid dividends for Knaak, scoring 14 crucial points.

Outlaws 26 - Sea Stags 22
---
Another bye-week pickup K, Jose Cortez, scored 11 points to lead 1-1 Outlaws to a win over Sea Stags. It was the seventh loss in a row for the Stags and snapped a four game losing streak for Outlaws. Karl has a good roster but the shocking inability of Minnesota's offense to perform is really hurting Sea Stags so far. They play Ego next week in a classic battle of have vs. have-not (kinda like FSU vs. UNC last week? Maybe, but which team is which?). Get those boys some Vike-agra and stand back!

Renegade Rebels 28 - Lethal Weapon 4 25
---
How is that Randy Moss hasn't scored yet, but Bubba Franks has TWO TDC's? LW4 get 21 points from Peyton Manning but next to nothing from anyone else. The Rebs (who have five wins in a row now) avoided a tie only through the remarkable hands of Bubba Franks. Where did this guy come from all of a sudden? Ted might've gotten the Bonehead for not starting Barlow, but really, who knew, you know? Anyway, RR vs. TWC highlights the schedule next week in a big-time divisional showdown.

Seattle Blur 19 - Rage 16
---
Poor Joe. Both RB's get hurt and he loses by three points. Life would suck if Joe didn't know the true nature of this game. You all know what it is, too. Lots of points on the Rage bench, but they were of the "I never start him anyway" variety (Dayne, Hakim, Kevin Johnson). Dayne might have to start this week, though. Hope he doesn't get hurt too.... Hey, did anyone ever sign Adrian Murrell?
SEATTLE BLUR 19 RAGE 16 ============================= ============================= QB Trent Green 0 QB Elvis Grbac 3 RB Marshall Faulk 0 RB Duce Staley 0 RB Lamar Smith 0 RB Fred Taylor 0 WR Marvin Harrison 9 WR Antonio Freeman 3 WR Jimmy Smith 0 WR Rod Smith 6 TE Desmond Clark 0 TE Frank Wycheck 0 K Jeff Wilkins 10 K Matt Stover 4 |
The Windmilling Chaos 29 - Munchen Mavericks 6
---
TWC get big games from the QB and K position and win the week, as well as going to 2-0 - both are things that have happened rarely over the years. MM barely avoid the shutout with only their QB scoring by run. Jamal Anderson scored on a +50 TDC, the second RB to do that this year. That's pretty odd. Parkview alum Brett Conway did not score for MM. Doesn't matter though; his old team scored more than enough to make up for it. At least Brett started a kicker who actually played this week...
