1st Place: Seattle Blur - 32 pts 2nd Place: Egomaniacs - 30 pts |
SORRY: I'm not feeling much like humorous recaps today. The first week was pretty lackluster, then you combine that with the stuff that's happened in New York and D.C. this week, and it has taken away most of my whimsy for the time being. I'm sorry for that. I'll give a brief comment for each game, but that's all I can really spare today. I'll do my best to return to vintage form next week. For now, congrats to the winners, bollocks to the losers, and sucks to your ass-mar! (my seventh-round draft pick next year to the first person who identifies the last reference)
Egomaniacs 30 - Outlaws 16
---
Tomlinson not starting didn't lose this one for Jim. Tomlinson and Gannon not starting, however, did. Welcome to 0-1.

Iron Men 21 - Sea Stags 12
---
Having an injured kicker in the lineup seemed to work for Brian - unorthodox as always. At least he started a TE this week.

Rage 11 - Macbain's 69th Highlanders 8
---
New kicker but the same old story for MacBain. The Urns have become the Nedheds. Why was Brad Johnson on the bench?

Renegade Rebels 24 - Munchen Mavericks 9

Seattle Blur 32 - Bake-O's 7
---
Bake-O's bench scored 32 this week. At least Dan has a a decent roster, even if he can't pick starters worth beans.

The Windmilling Chaos 22 - Lethal Weapon 4 10

This would have been a lot more exciting had Ahman Green and Mike Anderson (or Tampa Bay's offense) been in the game.
The Windmilling Chaos 22 Lethal Weapon 4 10 ============================= ============================= QB Brian Griese 9 QB Peyton Manning 6 RB Jamal Anderson 6 RB Kevan Barlow 0 RB Warrick Dunn 0 RB James Stewart 0 WR Derrick Mason 3 WR Torry Holt 0 WR Darnay Scott 0 WR Keyshawn Johnson 0 TE Chad Lewis 0 TE Marcus Pollard 3 K Ryan Longwell 4 K Gary Anderson 1 |
