Bake-O's 22 - Lethal Weapon 4 11
Bake-O's score their third win in a row, shocking the Weapon, who manage to clinch the LIMB Division and the No. 3 seed anyway, since MM lost as well. Steve Beuerlein continues his impressive season, getting a +50 TDP for the second week in a row. For LW4, nothing went well. If it hadn't been for the Bucs D being good enough to hold the Vikes to that FG, it might have been even worse. This week Bake-O's take on Iron Men in a battle for respectability. Should be fun.

Egomaniacs 27 - The Windmilling Chaos 26
Well, I was wrong. I said the Dayne Bowl would lack drama and verve and damned if it doesn't go out and get the Mel in a taut, Todd Peterson-led comeback win for Ego. Ego got a gret effort, points from six starters. Chris Chandler's late-season renaissance led the way for TWC (who now have lost a nasty six games in a row), who were in it up till the end. In fact, if I hadn't changed Greens at WR (E.G. for Jacquez), TWC would have actually won! But then Knaak would have the No. 1 pick... Hmm.... Bonehead, or Genius? You decide. Maybe that should have been the poll... :-)

Iron Men 29 - Munchen Mavericks 12
The Mavs are eliminated from LIMB contention with the loss to the lowly Aluminum Men, who may yet ride their two ties out of the cellar. The switch to the Standard Set finally allows Brian to justifiably start one TE, and pays immediate dividends. No, his TE didn't score, but most everyone else did, and the effort was enough to give them their fourth win of the year. The Mavs got a sad effort, only Tim Brown saving them from Lohmiller hell. Well, better luck next year, guys.

Outlaws 24 - Solvent Drag 7
Well, Outlaws win the battle, clinching the ORRS, but lose the war, as they have to settle for the No. 2 seed. Their scoring has been down lately, but they still had enough to beat the Greek-less Drag, who can console themselves with the fact that they won't finish in last place in their division. Basically, the difference was Edgerrin James, the rookie senstion whose two TD's made up for lack of scoring from Stephen Davis and Ike Bruce, and more than countered Rod's unlucky seven. Outlaws get Rage this week in one of two have vs. have-not games.

Renegade Rebels 28 - Rage 19
The Rebs can clinch the No. 4 seed with a win this week after sending Rage into the depths of the ORRS Division. A return to form by Olindo Mare led the way for Bill's guys, who have rebounded nicely from their horrible 1998 with a solid effort this year. Rage did all right, but no points from the RBs did them in in the end. Bill gets Rod this week in a quest for the home field in Week 15.

Seattle Blur 33 - Sea Stags 6
Seattle Blur clinch both TESS and the UFFL Regular Season Title with a sound thrashing of Sea Stags. Unfortunately for Karl, Jeff Blake (15 points) and Mike Vanderjagt (16 points) stayed on the Stag bench along with a 34-33 victory, a chance at the divisional title, and quite possibly, the No. 4 seed. Stags have to beat Ego this week and hope that the Rebels lose. As for the Blur, they have the other have vs. have-not game in Week 14, facing No. 12 seed TWC in a "Know Your Role" game that should be ugly. Unless Fred Lane scores.
