Iron Men 19 - Sea Stags 8
Iron Men increase their season scoring total by a third by whupping Sea Stags. The Stags are off to a rough 2-3 start, not scoring many points. A switch to the Standard offense this week didn't help them at all. Iron Men raise their record to 3-2 and a share of the LIMB lead. He only started one TE for the second straight week. What up with dat?

Lethal Weapon 4 22 - Rage 17
Gary Anderson kicked a UFFL season-high 5 FG's to lead LW4 to a decisive win over Rage. LW4 is also part of the logjam atop the LIMB Division. Rage fall to 2-3 and into the ORRS cellar as K Vinatieri can only manage two points. His missed FG didn't mean as much to Rage in the end as we may have originally thought, but it was still pretty sad.

Outlaws 32 - Munchen Mavericks 25
They're back! Outlaws cop the Mel for the fourth time this season as their change to the Standard set fares better than any of the others did. You could say Ike Bruce's 4 TDP's were a key to victory for Jim's team. The controversial Jay Riemersma deal paid dividends as The Man Himself caught a TDP. Michael Irvin's injury, though, cast a pall over the party celebrating Outlaws' 5-0 record, tied for the best start in UFFL history. Munchen Mavericks fall to 3-2 despite a pretty solid all-around effort.

Seattle Blur 28 - Renegade Rebels 14
Seattle Blur rise to 4-1 by bashing Renegade Rebels, another newly-ill-fated Standard team. Not that they would have done any better with the old set. The Amazing Kurt Warner throws 5 TDP's to single-handedly defeat the Rebs, who got nothing from anybody other than Olindo Mare and fall to 2-3. Thisi week they get a Mavs team they have only lost to once in seven years.

Solvent Drag 11 - Egomaniacs 6
Bye week hits both these teams hard, but the gritty, gutty Drag guys get a big win over an Egomaniacs team suddenly racked with TWCitis. Solvent Drag is now a surprising 3-2, and Ego falls to 2-3. Ego backup kicker Jeff Wilkins' 6 XP's were the only points scored by Ego this week. They hope to get healthy against Rage this week as Solvent Drag gets a crack at Seattle Blur.

The Windmilling Chaos 23 - Bake-O's 10
TWC finally get off the schneid, keeping Bake-O's in the gutter with a strong win. Sort of. Dan went off to the woods and never got a lineup in, despite making a lot of changes. Shannon Sharpe is out for who knows how long, so 2/3 of Dan's Denver Dudes are laid up. He might be in worse trouble than I am. Who knew? :-)
