Egomaniacs 20 - The Windmilling Chaos - 7
Egomaniacs rise from the ashes of their Week 1 performance as Lohmiller Award winning TWC sinks deeper into 1994 hell. Jamal Anderson blows a knee, taking both the Falcons and TWC down with him. There will be a Fred Lane sighting next week. Kudos to EGO RB Curtis Enis, BTW, for finally scoring a TDR!

Lethal Weapon 4 20 - Bake-O's 16
Mario Bates fails to turn the tide for Bake-O's as a Sunday Night TDR by Antowain Smith confuses the scorekeeper but proves fateful. Shim's boys are 0-2 now, and though no one voted for his pride, Dan is probably hurting right now. But not as much as Jamal's knee. Ted finds himself at 1-1 with a red-hot Peyton Manning at QB and an even hotter Mav team on tap for next week.

Munchen Mavericks 13 - Iron Men 6
Munchen Mavericks rise to 2-0 without a stellar offensive performance. Mike Hollis provided most of the spark. Iron Men join TWC in Lohmiller oblivion and fall to 1-1 as nothing goes right at all. The Mavs' D is on a roll, giving up only 6 pts for the second straight week. With Outlaws on the horizon though, don't look for that to continue.

Outlaws 50 - Solvent Drag 30
Outlaws get the Mel for the second straight week, putting up an L on Solvent Drag in more ways than one. (get it?) Amazingly, two of Jim's guys go scoreless and there were points on the bench. This could have been even bigger! Rod returns to active ownership with a great game of his own -- he would have won any other game this week. 11 of the 14 players in this game scored. Might be a record! Might not. Anyone want to look?

Renegade Rebels 29 - Rage 19
Are Renegade Rebels back? Does Rage suck? Both are 1-1 now so it's too soon to tell. The Rebs finally got a good game out of Eddie George, though, and Rage had another of those so-so kinda average games...you know, the kind that TWC can't ever have now because I don't have a RB left. Sorry, I digress... :-) Rebs get the best 0-2 team in the league next week in Solvent Drag, while Rage takes on Outlaws. We may be able to answer those questions next week.

Seattle Blur 24 - Sea Stags 12
Seattle Blur rises to 2-0 and takes the early lead in TESS with a victory over Sea Stags. Stags got Brad Johnson and very little else this week while the Blur had were led by the amazing Marvin Harrison, who has 5 TDC's in two games. Karl will take on Bill Knaak next week in the annual Battle of Guys Whose Last Names Begin With K. Fred will try to get to 3-0 by beating on hapless, Jamal-less TWC, which actually provides a very nice bookend-y feeling to this week's recaps. Thank you very much!
