Bake-O's 13 - Outlaws 6
Outlaws return to form, scoring only six points as they lose their fourth game in a row. In an oddly scored game, Bake-O's get their 13 via the Chip Lohmiller method, while Outlaws venture into Cleveland Gary territory (yet another gratuitous, slightly mocking, 42nd Airbourne reference) by getting all six of their points from the RB position. With the win, BO move back into first place in BITE.

Egomaniacs 19 - Lethal Weapon 4 12
Ego continue their late-season surge, winning back-to-back games for the first time this year behind another strong showing by K Todd Peterson. LW4 have lost four games in a row and have fallen further into the SLRS cellar, as their once potent offense is reduced to a TDR by Antowain Smith and a kicker,. Sort of sad, isn't it?

Iron Men 33 - Sea Stags 7
Iron Men deal a severe blow to Sea Stags, knocking them back into third place in SLRS with a sound thrashing. A resurgence in Tampa gave the IM offense a push, as did Brett Favre's first TDR of the season. In Stagsville, poor showings by Carolina and Oakland hurt badly.

Liquid Ham 28 - The Windmilling Chaos 8
TWC fall into second place in BITE as their heretofore stingy D gives up 28 to the Pork. Lack of RB strength could hurt TWC down the stretch. Shades of '92, indeed. Liquid Ham, however, received a strong performance down the board, getting points from six of their starters, and moved into striking position in LMON, just a half-game behind the Mavs.

Renegade Rebels 43 - Munchen Mavericks 18
Renegade Rebels' offense (meaning their RB's) seem to be getting wound up as the second round of divisional play beckons. Just in time, too; a red-hot Seattle Blur is right on their tails. The Mavericks stumble, but stay atop LMON just barely -- the Ham is oozing up from below.

Seattle Blur 32 - Necrotic Slough 13
Seattle Blur win their fourth game in a row as they blast the Slough into leadership in the Peyton Sweepstakes. Two more TDR's by Karim Abdul-Jabbar highlight a fine all-around showing by Mike's guys. Rod's weren't so lucky, although a timely insertion of Harvey Williams into the line-up certainly didn't hurt. At 2-8-1, though, not much could. Sorry, Rod.
