Week 10 Results

Egomaniacs 42 - Sea Stags 26
In an impressive Mel Gray performance, Egomaniacs explode for a season-high 42 points, behind 18 points from super-sub Fred Lane. Sea Stags fall out of first place in SLRS despite a fine all-around performance from their starters. Had this been the last week of the season, Ego would have qualified for the playoffs -- shades of '94?

Liquid Ham 21 - Iron Men 16
The Pork raise their record to .500 and the Tin Men fall a step close to Ego hell. Jeff Blake had his second big game in a row for LH. Tampa's recent struggles have hurt the Iron Man offense; Warrick Dunn's explosiveness has not impacted an IM game in quite some time. Of course, Corey Dillon's +50 TDR sitting on the bench didn't help either...

Munchen Mavericks 24 - Lethal Weapon 4 17
The Mavs recover from last week's stumble with a decisive victory over a high-scoring but underpowered LW4. Mike Hollis' 3 FG's and 3 XP's tied him for the league scoring lead and led the way as MM have moved further ahead in LMON. Jeff George is tied for the league lead with 20 TDP's, but his team stands at 3-6-1. What up wit dat?

Renegade Rebels 14 - Necrotic Slough 12
Renegade Rebels discover what it's like to be TWC as they score only 14 points but somehow manage to win.Steve Young, Barry Sanders, and Terry Allen all go scoreless for RR as only Bert Emanuel does anything remarkable for the Slough. All in all, a fairly pitiful game, but Bill will take the move into first place by himself in SLRS.

Seattle Blur 25 - Bake-O's 15
Seattle Blur win their third game in a row and bring Bake-O's back to the pack in BITE with a strong win. Bake-O's see a six game win streak end despite a strong performance by Jason Elam. Where was Terrell? 4 FG's by John Hall led the way for the suddenly strong Blur, who move to 6-4 and are breathing down the neck of Renegade Rebels in SLRS.

The Windmilling Chaos 26 - Outlaws 25
EXTRA!!! TWC gives up more than 20 points!!! TO OUTLAWS!!! Who still manage to lose!!! TWC emerge from their offensive cocoon just in time. Longwell and Brooks combined to put 11 points on the board Sunday night and that was enough by one to foil the upset bid and move TWC into a first place tie in BITE. New K Matt Stover and healthy WR Ike Bruce energized the Outlaw attack and give Jim hope for the last four weeks.
