Bake-O's 23 - Renegade Rebels 12
Bake-O's continue to defend their UFFL Championship with a vengeance. Their win over RR gave them a league-best 7-1-1 record and six wins in a row. The Rebels remain atop SLRS despite the loss, thanks to a victory over Sea Stags earlier this season. In an interesting move, Bake-O's became the first team this season to change offensive systems, abandoing the Wishbone for the Standard alignment and getting WR points for the first time since Week 12, 1993.

Iron Men 33 - Outlaws 3
Outlaws' last four scores: 40-4 (loss), 42-11 (win!), 31-3 (loss), and now 33-3 (loss). Ouch, babe. For the second week in a row only Kerry Collins has saved the Outlaw offense from Sainthood. Iron Men snap a five game losing streak behind four FG's from UFFL scoring leader Opie Taylor and keep the Outlaws reeling.

Necrotic Slough 32 - Lethal Weapon 4 24
Necrotic Slough break out AGAIN (they last did so two weeks ago), winning this week's Mel Gray game behind Tshimanga Biakabutuka, who scored the first NS TDR's since Week 1. Al Del Greco's big game contibuted mightily as well. The still powerful but somehow always losing Weapon slide into last place in SLRS with the loss as their rushing attack, so potent earlier in the season, gets nothin'.

Sea Stags 18 - Liquid Ham 16
Sea Stags move into a first place tie with RR in SLRS as they eke out a win over the Ham by virtue of a harsh New England performance on Monday Night. Napoleon Kaufman got UFFL credit for his third +50 TD of the season (2 TDR, 1 TDC) to lead the way for the Stags, who wouldn't have had nearly as much trouble winning had Joey Galloway, Lake Dawson, J.J. Stokes and their five TDC's been in the starting lineup...

Seattle Blur 32 - Egomaniacs 18
Seattle Blur continue their hot streak from last week, scoring 32 points and opening a can of whup-ass on an Egomaniacs team that now stands at 1-8 on the season. A new RB combination got Knaak absolutely nowhere, and only a strong game by Todd Peterson -- finally redeeming Bill's faith in him :) -- kept Ego out of single digits. Seattle Blur seem to be in position for a great late-season run.

The Windmilling Chaos 13 - Munchen Mavericks 9
For the third week in a row, TWC faced single-digit opposition and barely managed to squeak by. Denver's reliance on the running game lately has hurt the Mavs, but they manage to hold onto first place in LMON. The TWC defense continues on its record pace, but the offense hasn't gotten into gear yet. Of course, if this keeps up, they won't really have to.
