| First things first. There is no Monday Night Comeback of the Week®. Nothing changed on Monday, so why bother? Also, no Bonehead of the Week®, as no one could have done anything to stop anything else that happened. All in all, a week filled with high scores for the winners and blowouts. Outlaws blew the Number Two seed and the division, which was the only thing that kept Seattle Blur from blowing the Number One seed. Outlaws bring a three-game losing streak into the playoffs. Egomaniacs are the hottest team in the league, with a five-game win streak and a lot of momentum going. Karl's team Sea Staggers to the line carrying five losses in a row, as MacBain would have been had the Rowdy Scots not inexplicably risen up and smacked Seattle Blur down. Where did that come from? Al Del Greco returns with a vengeance. A good omen for next year for the Macs and for the league as a whole. Lots of action. Again, I'm not in the mood for extensive highlights so this is it as I conserve my energy for the playoffs. Good luck to all teams involved, and watch out for Egomaniacs! And for TWC in 2001! |
